Registration and contact details still required. The operator is not yet registered in the KBO/BCE and has no enterprise number, VAT number, or support telephone number. The customer-facing email also still needs a live-mailbox check. These gaps must be resolved before launch sign-off.

1. Who you are buying from

Second Language is the trading name used for this print-to-order clothing shop. In these terms, “Second Language”, “we”, “us” and “our” mean the legal operator of the shop. “You” means the person using the site or placing an order.

Enterprise number: registration pending
VAT status: not registered
Support telephone number: still required
Email: contact@wearsecondlanguage.com

Second Language is the trading name of Ralfs Ozolins. The email address above is the address currently wired into this storefront, but the mailbox must be confirmed before orders are accepted. Once confirmed, email is the quickest way to reach us about an order, return, complaint, or these terms. Include your order number where you have one.

2. Using this site

You may use this website to browse products, choose a size, build a bag, and place an order for personal use. You must provide information that is accurate enough for us and our service providers to process and deliver your order.

Do not misuse the site, interfere with its operation, try to gain unauthorised access, introduce malicious code, scrape it in a way that disrupts the service, or use its artwork, photographs, copy, or branding as if they were yours. Reasonable personal browsing and sharing links to the shop are welcome.

You must be legally able to enter into a purchase contract. If you are under the age required to make a purchase where you live, a parent or guardian must place the order.

3. Products and availability

We try to describe every shirt accurately, including the blank, colour, fit, measurements, print, and any known issue. Screen settings and lighting can change how a colour looks. The centimetre size chart is currently provisional and must be checked against the Build Your Brand BY102 source sheet or a production sample before launch; the “fits chest” bands are our guidance, not supplier measurements.

Each shirt is printed after it is ordered. “Printed to order” does not remove your statutory right to withdraw: these are standard designs and are not personalised for you. If we ever offer genuinely personalised or made-to-your-specification goods, any different cancellation rule will be stated clearly before you pay.

Products can be withdrawn or changed, and an item shown on the site may occasionally become unavailable before fulfilment. If that happens after you order, we will contact you and offer an appropriate alternative or a full refund. We will not substitute a different product without your agreement.

4. Prices, discounts, and payment

Prices are shown in euros and include consumer taxes that apply to the displayed sale, unless checkout clearly shows otherwise because of information you provide there. Delivery charges are shown before you commit to payment. You do not have to pay a charge that was not disclosed before the order.

The current multi-buy price is calculated across the quantity in one order. A promotional code is subject to the conditions shown with it, has no cash value, and cannot reduce an order below zero. We may correct or withdraw a promotion prospectively, but we do not rewrite a completed order after the fact.

Payment is processed through Shopify’s hosted checkout and the payment providers available there for your country and device. We do not receive your full card number. Your payment provider may perform its own security or identity checks.

If an obvious pricing or technical error reaches an order, we will contact you before fulfilment. You can accept the correct price or cancel for a full refund. We will never quietly charge a higher amount than the one you authorised.

5. How an order is formed

Putting an item in the bag does not reserve it. Sending the order through checkout is your offer to buy. A contract is formed when we accept the order by sending an order confirmation, not merely when a payment authorisation appears on your account.

After ordering, check the confirmation and tell us promptly if the size, product, quantity, or delivery address is wrong. We will try to help, but printing can begin quickly and a change is not guaranteed once production has started.

We may refuse or cancel an order where payment is not authorised, the address cannot be served, the product is unavailable, the listing contained an obvious error, or we reasonably suspect fraud or unlawful activity. If money has been taken for a cancelled order, it will be returned through the original payment method.

6. Printing and delivery

We currently deliver within the European Union. The shop states the available destination, delivery charge, and expected window before payment. Shirts are printed in Germany; production and dispatch may take up to 10 days, with the remainder of the quoted 7–17 business-day window used for transit.

You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address. If a parcel is returned because the address supplied was wrong or incomplete, we may ask you to pay the reasonable cost of sending it again. That does not apply where we or the carrier caused the error.

Risk of loss passes to you when you, or a person you nominated other than the carrier, receives the goods. If tracking says delivered but the parcel is missing, contact us promptly so we can investigate with the carrier.

Full delivery, delay, and parcel information is in the Shipping & Returns Policy, which forms part of these terms.

7. Your right to cancel

If you are an EU consumer buying online, you normally have 14 days from the day you receive the goods to withdraw from the contract without giving a reason. If one order arrives in separate parcels, the period begins when the last item arrives.

To withdraw, send a clear statement to contact@wearsecondlanguage.com before the period ends. Include your name, order number, the goods concerned, the date received, and a clear sentence saying you want to withdraw. You may use the model form in our Shipping & Returns Policy, but you do not have to.

After notifying us, return the goods within 14 days. You pay the direct return postage for a change-of-mind return. You may inspect and try on a shirt as you would in a shop; you are responsible only for any loss in value caused by handling beyond that.

We refund the product price and the cost of our least expensive standard outbound delivery within 14 days of being told about the withdrawal. We may wait until we receive the goods or you provide evidence that they were sent, whichever happens first. The refund goes to the original payment method unless you expressly agree otherwise.

8. Faulty, damaged, or incorrect goods

Your statutory rights apply in full. Goods must match their description, be fit for their normal purpose, and have the quality and durability a consumer can reasonably expect. EU consumers have a minimum two-year legal guarantee, and national law may provide more.

Our practical first step is simple: if a shirt is misprinted, faulty, damaged in transit, or not what you ordered, email us within 30 days with the order number and a photograph where useful. We will arrange a replacement at no cost and normally will not require the faulty item back. This 30-day process is an extra service; it does not shorten the longer legal guarantee or any remedy available under mandatory law.

Where replacement is impossible, disproportionate, not completed within a reasonable time, or otherwise unsuitable under applicable law, you may be entitled to a price reduction or refund. We cover necessary return costs for faulty or incorrect goods.

9. Our responsibility

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your mandatory consumer rights.

We are responsible for loss that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these terms or failure to use reasonable care. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, for business losses arising from a consumer purchase, or for delay caused by events genuinely outside our reasonable control. If such an event affects an order, we will contact you, take reasonable steps to reduce the delay, and preserve any cancellation rights you have.

The website may occasionally be unavailable or contain an error. We may maintain, update, or correct it. That does not affect a contract already formed or remove responsibility imposed by law.

10. Governing law and disputes

Contact us first at contact@wearsecondlanguage.com. We will acknowledge the complaint and try to resolve it directly.

These terms are governed by the law of the country in which the shop operator is established. If you are a consumer living elsewhere in the EU, you also keep the protection of any mandatory consumer law in your country of residence. You may bring a claim in any court available to you under applicable consumer law; these terms do not force you into a less convenient forum.

11. Changes and the rest

We may update these terms when the shop, providers, or law changes. The version in force when an order is accepted governs that order. The effective date at the top tells you when this page last changed.

If one provision is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. A delay in enforcing a right is not a waiver of it. These terms, the order confirmation, the Shipping & Returns Policy, and the Privacy Policy are the relevant documents for an order.
